Dr. Becker's
fee is $150 per 45 minute private session. Fees are payable by check, cash, Visa, MC or American Express at
the time of service. INSURANCE Dr. Becker will provide an appropriate diagnosis if the client wishes to submit their receipt
for out of network insurance reimbursement of any insurance carrier of which he is not a provider Is
there a benefit to not using your insurance? There sure is! PRIVACY!
When you or any mental health provider submits an
invoice to an insurance company, for any reimbursement of services, the provider must provide a diagnosis of you as suffering
from a recognized Psychiatric Diagnostic Manual (DSMIV) mental health disorder. These invoices and the providers' records
of his/her impressions, opinions, about you, etc., become the property of the insurance company. Although your records remain
in the practioner's office unless requested or audited by the insurance company, the invoices containing your information
remain with the insurance company. At this point, neither you, nor your provider can control how these companies handle
your information. Furthermore, being diagnosed with certain disorders may preclude you from receiving additional health of
life insurance in the future!
